The Pollination Project funds replacement sets of cushions and straps for Gulu Wheelchairs Basketball club sports wheelchairs
Coach and community Youth promoter, Acaye Paul was a recipient of a seed grant award by The Pollination Project, to support the ‘Pride in Me project’. Using funds meant to finance equipment, the project engaged a tailor to sew 10 sets of cushions and straps for at least 10 sports Wheelchairs for the club.
The condition of our Wheelchairs were precarious since our budget would only be able to align a few pairs of wheels, replace a few tyres and tubes only while the chairs remained bare without proper cushions and strappings. In receiving the donation, Gulu Wheelchair Basketball Club Chairperson Mr Oyat Benson Olit appreciated The Pollination Project for awarding the grant to a wonderful and credible volunteer in our community.
